This service duplicates your mouthpiece. A mouthpiece can be duplicated completely and/or just parts of the mouthpiece, while some parts are changed. For example, a mouthpiece can by copied with the exterior changed or the rim, cup, throat, backbore can all be changed. The rim inside diameter can be scaled larger or smaller, the cup can be scaled deeper or shallower, etc. Almost anything goes! Once I have the duplication of your mouthpiece further copies are $175 (trumpet, cornet, flugel, french horn), $215 (trombone).

Underpart threaded to accept rims - this allows an underpart to be used with multiple rims. Common threads are Bach, Reeves, Giardinelli, Schilke, Breslmair - please specify, or other. Threading an underpart destroys the rest of the mouthpiece.

This service duplicates your underpart section. The cup, throat, backbore, and exterior shape can all be customized. Cup inside diameter and depth can be scaled larger or smaller, throat size can be changed, the backbore can be changed, and the exterior shape can change as well...or all stay the same. Once I have the duplication of your underpart section further copies are $115 (trumpet, cornet, flugel, french horn), $175 (trombone).

Underpart Rethreading $75Rethread underpart with new threads. This repairs damaged threads and/or fixes threads that are not concentric. Common threads are Bach, Reeves, Giardinelli, Schilke, Breslmair.

Backbore Threading $48
Thread backbore to accept Tops. Common threads are Warburton. This allows you to use your backbore with multiple Tops/Cups. Threading a backbore destroys the rest of the mouthpiece.

This service allows you to copy and/or customize a top section. A duplication can be scaled with a larger or smaller inside diameter and/or a shallower or deeper cup. For example, if you have a 1C top, it can be duplicated and scaled to a 1 1/2C inside diameter. Also, the cup depth can be scaled deeper or shallower. Once I have the scan of your top, additional tops of the same copy, are $115 - trumpet, $175 - trombone.

Reeves Sleeves Conversion $48
Convert a backbore or mouthpiece to accept Reeves Sleeves - this allows the gap to be adjusted with the use of Reeves Sleeves - O-ring included.

Open the throat of your mouthpiece. Example #27 to #24.

Plug & Redrill Throat $75This service plugs the throat and redrills it. If you want to decrease the diameter of the throat this is the service you need. For example, plugging a #24 throat and redrilling to a #27 throat. Includes silver plating (4 weeks).

Skeletonize Exterior $60
Turn down the shank/exterior of your mouthpiece to a Bach style blank. Silver plating $15 and 2-4 weeks. This is for you if you have a heavy blank mouthpiece and want to change how it looks, or increase the ability to hear yourself in a section.

Short Shank $48Short shank a trumpet shank mouthpiece to a Curry 3.1 length or Monette Bb trumpet mouthpiece length. This can be done on a one piece trumpet mouthpiece, underpart or backbore section. Silver plating optional, $15 additional and 4 weeks.

Rebuild Worn Shank $75
Rebuild your worn trumpet or cornet mouthpiece shank. This service repairs the wear and tear of the shank of your mouthpiece. This service also allows you to customize (specify) the shank end diameter of your mouthpiece - but without the use of an o-ring, which some players find "deadens" the sound.

Rebuild Shank to Olds Cornet Mouthpiece Large Shank $75 Rebuild your cornet mouthpiece shank to the specification of an Olds Cornet mouthpiece shank. Re-plating, optional, $15 extra and 4 weeks.

Turn Down Shank $48Turn down the shank of your mouthpiece. This will decrease the GAP. You can specify the shank end diameter, or I can copy the shank end diameter from another mouthpiece. If you would like the GAP to increase, I need to rebuild the shank, see above.

Shorten Shank $15Shorten your mouthpiece by slightly cutting down the shank end of the mouthpiece. This increases GAP, but shortens the mouthpiece (slightly). Some prefer this to increase GAP instead of rebuilding the shank or converting for Reeves Sleeves.

This service replates your mouthpiece and includes cleaning and buffing (refinishing). Special care is taken to maintain the contour of the rim and edge of the cup - not all deep scratches may be removed. Plating is done by Anderson Silver Plating, allow 4 weeks.

Bottom Valve Cap Weight Matching $25
This service matches the wight of your stock bottom valve caps, to a tenth of a gram. Stock valve caps I have weighed vary as much as 0.3 grams. Some players prefer their valve caps to be closer to the same weight.
